# About NQ Family Physio Services

NQ Family Physio Services is a locally owned and operated physiotherapy provider based in Townsville, delivering high-quality, participant-centred physiotherapy services throughout North Queensland. We are committed to helping people of all ages and abilities maximise their independence, mobility, participation, and quality of life through practical, evidence-based physiotherapy.

Through our partnership with Trusted Care, a subsidiary of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland, we are able to provide services to self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed participants, ensuring our services remain accessible to a broad range of NDIS participants and families.

In addition to servicing the Townsville region, we provide regular outreach services to Ayr, Ingham, and Charters Towers, helping individuals and families in regional communities access quality physiotherapy close to home.

NQ Family Physio Services has extensive experience working within the NDIS and supporting participants with a wide range of conditions and support needs. We work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults living with neurological conditions, developmental delays, genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, musculoskeletal conditions, and progressive neurological disorders, among many others.

We recognise that every participant's circumstances, strengths, and goals are unique. Our approach focuses on building strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, and other members of the care team to develop therapy programs that are meaningful, achievable, and tailored to individual needs. Whether the goal is improving mobility, increasing independence, enhancing community participation, managing pain, improving physical function, or supporting long-term health and wellbeing, we work collaboratively to help participants achieve outcomes that matter to them.

Services can be delivered in a variety of settings, including the home, school, workplace, community, residential care facilities, and hydrotherapy pools. We believe therapy is most effective when delivered in environments that are relevant to a participant's daily life and goals.

At NQ Family Physio Services, our focus is on practical therapy that supports real-world outcomes. We strive to empower participants and their support networks with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve lasting improvements in function, independence, and quality of life.
